As a Bergen County Natural Light Photographer, choosing a location for a maternity session is typically very simple. There are so many beautiful locations in the area and they never fail to disappoint. The spot for this beautiful session is a little hidden gem. A place that we have shot countless times before and always remember why it is we love shooting there.
The Celery Farm, located in Allendale, NJ is a quiet, wooded area with expansive footpaths, tall grass and beautiful, natural light. It was the perfect location and the perfect night for a session.
Christina is expecting her first child, a little girl, in August. She is a Bump to Baby client, which means we have the pleasure of photographing her before baby and then after for her little girls newborn session.
For her maternity session, she wanted something a little boho, a little glam, but not crazy over the top. She wore a beautiful, off the shoulder blush gown with lace detailing and accessorized with a floral crown. The evening sun was absolutely gorgeous and gave us the most perfect glow.
Dad joined in for a few shots, and he couldn’t take his eyes off Christina. Neither could we. She looked effortlessly beautiful. These are the sessions that make us appreciate being a Bergen County Natural Light Photographer. Capturing these once in a lifetime images and basking in the glow of the setting sun and expecting parents is amazing.
We suggest booking maternity sessions during the 28-36 week mark. Our maternity sessions can be done outdoors or indoors at our Midland Park studio.
