We specialize in Luxe NJ Maternity Photography and revel in capturing these once in a lifetime moments for expectant parents. Our session with Jessica took place at our new studio space in Midland Park and we love the natural light and wide range of shots that we are able to get!
Jessica opted for an all indoor session and wanted something simple, classic and a little edgy. She also is one of our LUXE maternity clients. The Luxe maternity session is a full-service session that we offer as an add on to the regular maternity session. This add on provides mama-to-be with a little pampering, makeup and hair for her session. Our makeup artist, Janelle, is a highly skilled and takes the time to listen to her clients and understand what they want for their look. Makeup application is done right at our Midland Park studio (as is hair) and combines a full arsenal of makeup to accommodate and compliment all skin types.
While Jessica got her makeup up done, we chatted about her pregnancy and how she and her husband were preparing for the arrival of their first little boy! We love first time parents! Their excitement is palpable and uncontainable. We also discussed a little bit more of what she wanted from the session and brainstormed some additional ideas that we had not discussed in our pre-session consult.
Since Jessica and her husband were having a boy, we chose some fabrics on the darker blue side.. navy and grays made a perfect combo and looked stunning against her fair skin. She was effortlessly beautiful! Jessica was open to most of our suggestions and was not afraid to bare a little belly.. and skin. The juxtaposition of simplistic and edgy made for such strikingly beautiful shots.
Our favorite part of the session.. getting to photograph both Jessica and her husband. How cute are they? Sweet, playful and a little silly- the perfect combination! Genuinely sweet and genuinely happy – these two are definitely are hash tagging #couplesgoals
We can’t wait to have them back to the studio in a couple of weeks and to meet their baby boy!
